The WaterSafe is a large, food grade, plastic bladder that is placed in the bathtub first and then filled with potable water. The WaterSafe is made in America with FDA approved, food grade materials. Engineered with superior liquid packaging technology, the bladder has a clear, three-layer, non-barrier lamination that is designed to provide strong seals, extraordinary bag toughness, and superior flex crack resistance. Alone, bathtubs aren’t reliable as emergency water containers. They leak, may contain germs (particularly from the drain), and won't protect water from ongoing exposure and contamination. The WaterSafe will protect water from contamination so it is safe for drinking, bathing, cleaning and flushing.
The WaterSafe is compact, affordable, safe, lightweight and easy to use. Store on a shelf or with your emergency supplies until you need it!
Having a clean, emergency water supply is a vital part of preparing for disasters. WaterSafe allows you to store a large amount of water safely. The government recommends having 1 gallon of water per person / per day. In the event of a prolonged event, like a pandemic, you may need to shelter in place for up to two weeks. The WaterSafe 65 holds more than enough to meet the requirement for a family of four for two weeks.
Much of the water you will use is for sanitation - not drinking. If there's a question about the safety of the water, use a product like Aquatabs to treat the water. Fill a portable water jug from the Watersafe and add the required Aquatabs to have a ready drinking water supply.
